Dear friends of the Stock Scope,
many of your letters are concerning an age-old question - if the Stock Scope can help us more or less understand which are the ideal stocks for each individual of the Zodiac. I believe so, and however short is the column, I thought about pleasing you by outlining in a chart some useful analogies between those who invest and the stars. I insist on specifying that the suggested stocks do not belong to the sign of the investor to whom we suggest to buy them, and in fact this is a rather misleading line of reasoning. The most important are the division and the planet that influences it, and not the birth chart of the company. So then, let's have some fun:
If your sign is: Aries
Invest in: Cars, Military Industry, Mechanics, Metallurgy, Sports Companies.
And buy into: Finmeccanica, Michelin.
If your sign is: Taurus
Invest in: Food Industries, Banking, Finances, Real Estate.
And buy into: Banco Popolar Espanol, Parmalat.

This week also,
There is a great sense of discouragement going around and a great fear. Burned by the frequent falls, many investors stopped the activity, maybe because the capitals intended for the game have finished, or because the impossibility of selling shares at great loses leads to immobility. The result was a plastered but slightly downtrend market. In this very moment, when this article is being written, the Stock Exchanges have slightly recovered, following the modest cut of taxes in the States, an appreciated choice but foreboding a doubt - cut after cut, where is it going to end? If the tax treatment does not give any result, what else could be done before pronouncing the ill man dead? We have to say that in the last two years most of the investors have bet on the same stocks, the Telephony, with the result of inflating the prices excessively. The sad Mercury has made more than one inexpert cry. Now, it is not up to us advising rashly to enter the game again, but ... when you think about it, if what is being defined in a pejorative sense as "the stable", or the pack of the callow investors, stop buying when they should, that is when the most expert ones understand that there are too many occasions to let them go.
